Here at Chesters Dog Walking we are always looking for the right people to join our team. Our mission is to provide fun and enjoyable walks whilst ensuring the best possible care to each one of our poochie clients. We understand that all our clients are individuals and don’t require a one size fits all approach to their walks, interactions, and care.

What we are looking for in a member of the Chesters Dog Walking Team

Love of animals (experience of being a pet owner and/or experience in working in similar roles)
A reliable, self-motivated individual looking for a permanent position (ideally Monday – Friday)
Commitment to build a long-term career in the industry (our clients, both human and animals, build relationships with you, so consistency is very important)
Have a mobile phone and competent to use in order to communicate with clients through message, calls and sending pictures of their fur babies out on walks.
Exceptional timekeeping
Willing to work in all weathers
Own vehicle (fully insured, MOT and tax)
Full UK driving license
Strong communication skill (with both humans and animals)
DBS police checks and reference checks for our clients security

Pay

Self-employed commission-based role for the work undertaken, with the potential earnings of £10.00-16.00 per hour depending on the number and type of walks

Hours

This is self employed role the hours can be flexible to suit your needs, however the majority of the demand from clients is Monday–Friday between 10:00–15:00. Working opportunities are available outside of these hours depending on the client’s needs. We would require someone to work at least 2-4 hours per day Monday to Friday to ensure consistency for our clients

Ideal candidates

This role fits would fit well with school runs as most of the walks are Monday – Friday between 10:00 – 15:00. It would also suit semi-retired or retired, someone looking for part-time hours, someone who works from home or has another part-time job.

Ideally lives within the Gosport, Lee-on-the-Solent, Stubbington, Fareham area
